Moonlover's Promise
in the darkness the beaming moon reigns
as if she owns the universe.
in her solitude,
she dances like the whirl of tides in a stormy night.
every move begets a loud cry
her light tossing against a moonlover's dream
rousing , disconcerting
she owns the night.
